Position Title: Outside Sales Representative

 

Job Summary:

Make regular sales calls to develop, nurture and maintain long-term customer relationships.  Promote a strong company image by dealing with customers and vendors in ethical, professional and courteous manner. Meet or exceed the company's goals and grow market share.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Maintain current customer base in Northern Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Southern Vermont
  • Develop new leads and foster new relationships
  • Identify opportunities, evaluate solutions
  • Work with customers to understand the business drivers for their projects
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations
  • Ensure timely and courteous customer service and satisfaction
  • Manage proposal process
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and the company's goals to grow market share
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and developments
  • Develop and maintain your product knowledge
  • Remain informed about customer situations, market conditions and trends and the competitive environment
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • 3+ years experience in the industry
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and well-developed presentation skills
  • Able to identify opportunities and evaluate solutions
  • Experienced negotiator
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time and territory management skills
  • The ability to support and manage several continuous activities
  • Good PC skills, experience with Eclipse a plus
  • Valid, current driver's license.
